A couple of years ago I bought a new pair of Converse All-Stars - high tops in black - and I wear them frequently on the weekends, but I wanted a pair of low tops as well. For my birthday a couple of weeks ago, my wife gave me a new pair - low top - brown. I must say that I love these shoes! I wore these back in the 80's - like everyone else - but stopped for no apparent reason in the 90's. Maybe due to a couple of factors: 1) Doc Martens, 2) driveway basketball + Chuck Taylors = blisters. You can't beat a pair of Chucks. If anyone wants to send me a pair, I wear size 9. Next time I think I want that classic cream color! Thanks in advance!
